I'm spending the weekend moving everything in my office/studio space out and reorganizing/reclaiming the space. It's going to be really great to have more usable area in my studio. Once I'm done I should have room for a much larger worktable that can support sewing machine projects and my printmaking. Also, here's a sneak-peek at some sketches I'm working on for my September solo show at SEED gallery in Winston. The working title is "personal mythologies" and this sketch is called Eve.

A peek at the "trashheads" prints I'm working on for my next set of art-o-mat hankie pankie prints. I need to come up with a clever name other than trashheads, too. The main part of the printed image is a face made up of scans of collected items I found discarded on walks.Rather silly, but I wanted to do a few prints "just for fun" while I work out what I'd like to do in a more serious vein for my SEED show in September. |
